Question
5 years back the average age of A and B was 15 years. At present the average age of A, B and C is 20 years. How old is C?
1. 20
2. 15
3. 30
4. 40
5. 45

5 years back A & B Avg age is 15. so (A-5 + B-5)/2 =15

A+B-10= 15*2 ==> A+B=40

Now, A, B & C's Avg age is 20. so (A + B+C)/3 = 20

A+B+C=3*20 ==> 40+C=60

C=20

Ans is 20. Choice (1)
