nowdays hardly youth enter politics, especially in india due to a simple reason -our country is economically poor ,slums more, illeteracy more, heavy population, less area, unemployment increases day by day,why i say this coz with all these burdens one (especially youths) has the responsibilities to take care of his family as % of middle class people is higher proved by our statistical records. so,how could one enter the politics which is quite dangerous in terms of handling r gaining posts well against the opposition which may have the support of the don's.well one has lesser or meagre opportunities to get employed due to the reason suggested above, definetely the reason for migration of ppl to foreign countries seeking better employment.why i link employment with politics coz uth's major responsibility is to take care of his parents who were the real insipiration of a child,it's our foremost duty, then after settling all this one can enter olitics which depends upon one's interest and try to improve our country's economy and various other factors which stand as a hurdle in india's growth.

if iam wrong, please share ur views.

The youth must take an interest in public affairs-or Politics as you may call it. It is important for us to know the manner in which we are governed. And this I do not think distracts us from our duties towards our parents and other things. In fact, politics is a concern for the better needs of common people. So in a way we only become more conscious of our duties towards society at large.
Let us consider an active involvement of youth in politics- it could give rise to increased competition in it and in the near future we may even have entrance examinations for admission into the field of politics!
On the flip side this could lead to the commercialization of politics. For coaching centers are sure to come up with tutorial packages one after another guaranteeing ‘aspiring politicians’ sure admission etc.,
But people would begin to think of politics as a serious career option and it would cease being an alternative job to retired dacoits, flop filmactors and bored housewives

definitely. India is a young country with the median age of all living persons at 24 years. Also, the country has gone through tough times in the past due to leaders who were too old to care for the country, lest they were able to take care of themselves. Moreover, the young population of country can always have fresh ideas to alleviate a cetain problem. it is true to a certain extent that with age comes experience, and that has been well established by the likes of our very own PM, Mr. Manmohan Sigh, who has an excellent academic knowledge and experience to lead India, but also the likes of BSchool graduates like Sachin Pilot, MIlind deora adds life and a fresh set of ideas to the decision making bodies.

I do agree with the view
“Youth’s of the country should definitely think Politics as a career option.”
With greater power come bigger responsibilities.
Frankly speaking in our present political situation nothing is systematic.
The current notion about politics is that it is alternative job to retired dacoits, flop film-actors and bored housewives.
Neither do our present politicians have any code of conduct; even if they have they have –it’s only in papers.
So to revive the current System it’s we the “Youth” who needs to step in the system and change it for better,
So that our next generation do not have same-things to say in this kind of discussion.
Politics lets you with the power to change the system on its head and make your motherland a better place to live in.
So do you think there is any-other challenging job better than this?
It a challenge to us, and the youth should be prepared to face it, rather than ignoring it.

hey frens ... do you really feel that politics and age are related in any manner.... well i dont think so.... lets first see what are the basic requirements for a person to be a politician... i guess he/she must have sufficient knowledge about the post he is contending for.. and apart from that he shoud have leadership qualities and team building skills.... hey it coincidently matches with the requirements of an MBA....well coming to the point... so all these are the basic requirements to become a good politician... do you feel these qualities are distributed unevenly across different age groups.. well if you really feel that...heavens help you... i personally feel anyone having these qualities can enter the so called "dirty game" ...all you need is the desire to serve the country...and ofcouse yourself... and lastly you also need to posses an uncanny habit of forseeing the future... :o

any one should enter politics, including young generation, as long as they don't get lost in power and money and always are royal to the people who gave him/her the power in the first place!

hi
if you have money and you are good in public dealing then one should go to politics because there is always "pump and show" as if you have money and good public relation then you can percue others to follow you, but if you have only good public relation then also you cant go to that line because every body who is working for you will not waist his or her time for getting nothing.
so if wana be in politics arrange a huge amount of money and start making good public relations

Yes, youngsters shud join politics... This will improve the system as there will be new ideas and new thinking that will take the country in a new direction... Youngsters wud definitely think better than old people but the experience of the old is a big factor that keeps them there... Till these youngsters get experienced, they are surely gonna face a lot of difficulties in their job... However, they will eventually overcome them and succeed...

Now the most imp and major issue with youngsters joining politics is that its just a dream... a mirage which will take ages to become a reality... it can only happen in movies like YUVA and RDB... yes, youngsters get inspired by these movies and vow to join politics but thats a temporary enthusiasm that doesnt last long... We tend to choose safer and secure options like becoming an Engineer, or a doctor or do MBA... We wud think a million times before joining this so called pig fight named politics... Y? cos no one wants to get dirty... no one wants to clean the country by getting dirty... So the thot of youngsters joining politics is gr8, but it can actually help only if youngsters actually come forward and take a stand...
