CAT 2005 ended up being tough basically because the number of questions were down to 90.
Essentially this meant that one had little choice - in terms of skipping questions.
And in the verbal section, there were quite a few questions with close answer choices making it difficult.
The overall cut off this year is likely to be a little lesser, though it may not be very less.
At the end of the day, the line is drawn at the score that the top 3000th student manages to secure.
Though you have mentioned a score in the mid 20s - there is no way you can be sure that is your score based on the answer keys of different institutes. As you would have seen, there are different answers provided especially in the verbal section. So, wait to hear the results from the IIMs.
In the meantime, if you have applied for other B school tests focus on the same.
Best wishes

Hey Don`t fear about your score.Every person is like you only.As the paper is difficult you can expect somewhat less cutoff mark in every section. You should be pleased because the paper is not easy, if it is nearly half of the crowd will surely get 60-70 corrects. So you are blessed.Wait for the results
