hi guys,
how do u remember the formulaes in the geometry and mesuration chapters.
not only that there are so many things like relation between two sides and median of third side, incentre, radius of incircle and side of triangle etc.
how do u remember these and how does it click where to apply what?
the mere sight of diagrams or mention of cylinders and cones in cat paper gives me jitters. plz can any one help me get over this fear of geometry and mensuraiton.
plz suggest some good books also.
and if i want to share doubts on these topics how do i draw the diagrams here??
plz someone help

friend u just do lots of practice in geomatory and apply the formula and u will find it is very easy.u can take the refrence of 10 standard book of cbse.

anshu, I had similar feelings with respect to geometry and mensurations some months ago. I was skipping all questions in geometry in mock cats at that time.. i ended up missing a lot of questions.
Then i heard IMS material for Geometry and Mens is very good . I borrowed it from one of my friend and did some real ground work in terms of concepts...I noted down all the key concepts, made sure it entered my head,then i went to problems..I felt a lot more comfortable with geometry problems then. The material was wonderfully segregated into straight lines, triangles, polygons,circles, and then solid figures |
