1. How to prepare for the CAT - Muhammad Muneer (Tata McGraw Hills)
2. How to prepare for Quantatative Aptitude for the CAT - Ajay Sharma (TMH)
The second one has lot of errors (sometimes frustrating) though the quality of concept explanations and questions is really good.
The first one gives a good overview of all the CAT sections and the ways to tackle each.
Apart from that there are books on Vedic mathematics that can be used to master mental calculations. |

Hii!! m Rinki ..m new too n joined dis group 2day itself.. m mba aspirant like u..besides books mentioned by heretic..aadi i would recommend u sum gud books..
1-word power made easy by Norman Lewis n all abt words by Maxwell Rosenblum..for ur vocab
2-reasonin books(logical) by Shakuntla Devi
3-books for reasonin by George Summers
apart frm dat..if u r at initial stages of preparation like me den better refer books for maths reasonin n data interpretation by R.S Agarwal..
