The person who scores the highest is assumed to have 100 percentile. So, your percentile will be relative to the highest scorer. Say, you have 90 percentile means 90% of the students have scored less than you.
For example: There are 100 students who appeared the test and you scored 90 percentile.That means 90 students scored less than you. For IIMs, you must target for 99 percentile:-) |
