WHEN DO THE COLLEGES START???

Hello everybody!

Can anybody let me know as to when do the colleges (read IIMs) start?
Actually I am working rght now, and am legally bound for two years, the bond period is till July 31st 2007.

I would like to know whether CAT 2006 would be an option for me as I cant afford to break the bond, so in all probability, I am going to miss out on some of the classes... (assuming that I give CAT this year)

I wanted to know whether missing out on a month and a half of college would be allowed? I mean is there some rule regarding the same, or is it only my acads (for those days) that I would be missing out on?

I would also like to have an idea about the college expenses.
