Hey
I am almost 25 .I have done BCA from IGNOU and did not farewell in my career . I have some work experience working in marketing jobs here and there and not much to brag about.Basically I have lost it (Up till Now).In the mean time i have been giving CAT and other B-School exams and did not farewell in them scoring around 30% ile in almost all of them.
Now i had filled this IIPM (Indian Institute of Planning Management ) form and gave the exam and somehow they managed to give me a call for their BANGALORE college.javascript:emoticon(' ')
Shocked
What i want to know is that should i join the institute .Is it worthwhile .I know IIPM doesnt have a lucrative B-School charm about it.Are the placement good enough to earn a good salary and survive in a city like bangalore or Mumbai. Their course fees is also around 5 lakhs . javascript:emoticon(' ')
Rolling Eyes
Can u guys please help .Before this IIPM call i had nervous breakdown javascript:emoticon(' ') Sad as i was perplexed as to how to react and go about my career. Now it is a confusing situation. My pops and mum had given up on me and now i dont know what to make out of this call letter.
Look i need help and u guys r my contemprories and none advice is better then ur peers. So please comment and let me know how to handle this.javascript:emoticon(' ')

hi,
the first thing is dont be so low on self confidence... the way ur parents are reacting is cos u have lost faith in ur abilities... get it back and then u will see that u can make most of whatever u have in hand..
as for the course... why dont u check out with the alumni students of the institution.. they would be able to guide u best...
all the best... confidence is the key.. do write in if u have taken it up
cheers

Check out if you can convert the GDPI call of IIPM into an admission call.
The question of whether to take it up or not arises only after that.
5 lakhs charged by IIPM is pretty much the average amount charged by many b schools, give or take 50k to 1 lakh
anyways, best wishes for your Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IIPM. |
