I am deepu.I want to know is there any wordlist for the CAT exam (or) is this better to read the newspapers? |

hello
as far as i know there is no particular word list for exams.dont restrict ur knowledge.more u study better is ur chances.do read newspaper everyday that u mus have heard many a times but what is more important is to learn those words whose meaning u dont know.

Hi
As suggested by "sunny_in" there is no limit to the vocabulary.
Reading newspapers/magazines will help you understand the connotation of the word and the context in which it can be used.
Still if you want you can go through following 2 sources:
1. Barrons' GRE Word List (available on net also)
2. Word List of Muhammad Muneer
But no amount of word-gobbling is sufficient. Above mentioned is the minimum one can do.
Questions are sometimes of indirect application of word rather than straight forward.[/url] |
