it is a matter of pride.India will become only the second Asian country to host the prestigious Games.hosting these Games is a key step in advancing our vision of becoming a leading sport nation by 2010.It will give a big boost to India's image in the world of sport.
it makes us imp and noticed in the whole world.
it will help in indian economy, increase opportunities for business and boost tourism
The games will offer new market opportunities
As can experience the daily news about the fly overs, metro trains, new track of trains getting opened, demolishing the illigal construction. All because the government needs to meet the standards that has be set by the commonwealth games federation
this will also increase in participation interest in Commonwealth Games among indians and would also provide direct indirect jobs |

Hey thanks for ur response shagun.....
I am of the same opinion....too
But unfortunately our politicians are making a big issue out of the whole incident......
I will quote here what Mr. Sharat Yadav( JD(U)leader) had to say
"What is the big deal in hosting games like Commonwealth Games in India? What do we gain, barring a few medals and some IOA officials having a good time?I believe that the huge amount of money that would be spent on hosting the gamescould have been used for better purposes instead"
Anyway I totally agree with what you have got to say...
and until we hear from someone on the contrary ..i guess it is safe to consider that India's decision regarding C.W games is justified...
This is me ...signing off
Thank you |
