Hi,
I am an Engineering graduate of batch 2002 and I am working for the past 20 months as a Software Engineer in a laeding software firm. Management Education at IIM had always been a dream for me but I never took cat before 2004. In CAT 2004, I performed terribly badly in Quant Section. My expected scores stand at 19.5 in Verbal, 22.67 in DI and 7.33 in quant. Believe me, I can do much better than that. May be the day wasn't much good for me and I chose to attempt too many 2 mark questions, with three of them ending in negatives, and myself being stripped of some valuable time to attempt sitters in the one mark part. I do not expect any IIM calls this time; but neither do I want to do MBA from any lesser institutes. But I am in a dilemma. Should I continue in my curent employment, chances are that I will be performing managerial roles in less than 2 years from now. And I am afraid if I am getting too old to have a go at CAT 2005. Please sharer your views on my viability as a Student for IIM's PGP programs starting in 2006.
