Is it true that the eligibility criterion for appearing in CAT entrance is 55%?
What are the other preferential criteria for a candidate's selection in the final interview?

Please reply,
Thanks

So far there was to eligibility marks in grad for appearing in CAT. Any graduate or one about to appear for his/her graduate exam could have applied. But, since around 1.7lacs appeared for CAT last year & the number is expected to cross 2lacs this year, the IIMs will only entertain applications from those who got/gets 50% or more in aggregate in their graduate level exam. This is supposed to come into effect from CAT '06.
